My name is Maria and I’m a photographer based in Chicago, IL. I’m a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where I earned my BA in Fine Art Photography. I’m originally from Iowa and have been photographing non-stop since I was 16.
Photography is everything to me. It’s how I seek out beauty, and it’s how I express myself creatively. When I realized I could utilize my passion to document other people’s lives and love, I never looked back. Being a part of my clients’ story makes me so happy (and grateful).
My photography style is classic yet contemporary. I embrace minimalism and I’m drawn to neutral color palettes and simple backdrops. I want my photographs to evoke natural emotion, I want my clients to be relaxed, and I want all of us to connect and laugh.
